Here's our resolution:

R E S O L U T I O N

Against the Tolling of Existing Highways which Amounts to Double Taxation and Calling for an Immediate, Independent Review

Whereas, we (business names)

support responsible and open government, and

Whereas, we find the information being provided to us by our government agencies regarding the roadway alternatives, costs and impacts in the U.S. 281 corridor and further toll plans for Bexar County to be incomplete, and possibly inaccurate and misleading;

Whereas, we believe these tolls impact our ability to attract and retain employees, increase our cost of doing business, and affect our customers' ability to patronize our business,

Now, therefore, be it:

Resolved, that we oppose the tolling of existing highways; and further be it

Resolved, that we call for an immediate, independent review of the Texas Department of Transportation's highway project revenues and expenditures, particularly those involving US 281 and Loop 1604 and the interchange of those highways, as well as the toll plans throughout Bexar County.
